December Wrap Up

I started an AM boot camp class at the beginning of December which is honestly the only thing that has made December seem so long in my books.  Everything else has magically flown by.  But not without some fun.

Matt has taken up cooking which is probably the best thing that’s ever happened to me.  Right now his specialty are soups and breadsticks, but he’s also made some great things in the crock pot.  The 1 photo is a severe mis-documentation for the amount of cooking he actually does.  We’re talking 3 times a week people.

We also kept our local Blockbuster in business renting old Christmas movies to watch every night.  I didn’t realize there was another person who likes The Santa Clause as much as me.  And I successfully converted Matt to Elf, which he somehow disliked until this year.

The entire space of time from November 15 – January 5 is a holiday to me because of the strong emphasis on shopping.  Even though I did 99% of my Christmas shopping online this year, we still managed a few trips to Park City which we of course drug Susan along.  Not that she complained….not even about the sweater.

Not that anybody besides us cares, but we also put Susan in training classes.  And we spend a LOT of time at the dog park these days.  Both major highlights in our books and coincidentally lame/pathetic in others books.

My cousin Becca came home from her mission and we took Ashleigh’s kids up to her homecoming and Matt also made soup for the after-party.  Is that what being a parent feels like?  Toting children to church and making soup for family parties?  Weird.  Somehow we survived, and even took a photo to prove it.

I love Susan's sweater..and seriously Susan's name seriously fits her! and I just realized how much I love the ring of Susan and Sadie..ha ha. Anyways now I am blabbing..sorry! :-) Cute pics!
