Things of late:

My camera (which I never liked and only had for 8 months) broke.  Don’t waste your time with a Nikon cool pix.  I’ll never stray away from a Canon when it comes to point and shoots again.

We bought Susan a sweater.  It really was for functionality, not just style, but magically both missions were accomplished.

We attended a football game together.  Utah State vs. BYU.  Sadly my Aggies lost in the last 11 seconds, but it was a good game (coming from a non-sports-lover).

I broke down and let Matt buy a PS3 and Tiger Woods Golf.  How long will it take me to regret that decision?

We went to Lake Powell with my family and I learned 2 new things about Matt.  A. He has secretly always wanted to take a picture where we were both wakeboarding and kissing.  B. He thinks the test to somebody truly knowing him is the ability for him to say “pick me up a Jamba Juice” and the other person will magically know exactly what he wants.  (Citrus Blast, extra bananas and energy shot.)

We sent off our favorite little brother to Barcelona, Spain on his mission.  Although his departure brought many exciting one-last-time events (i.e. Color Me Mine, going out to eat, game nights, Belgian waffles, Ryan&Kendall&Hallie in town, etc.) we are so sad to see him go.  Every day I come up with a new thing that just won’t be the same without him.  Wah.

  1. OH my gosh, I have that cool pix purple camera... I don't even bother with it ever, it sucks! I feel your pain!

PS- Pink is SO Susan's color! :)

  2. Sorry about your camera. It's size was so convenient. Pocket size!

I LOVE Susan's sweater! Can I get one in my size? (This is mom). She looks so cute. Can't wait to meet her at Thanksgiving.

Lisa, Paul and I are Aggies, too. We needed another Aggie in the family (along with Ryan and Marissa)

I'm sure you must be missing Jeff. I am sure you must be so proud of him. I could have never done what he is doing when I was his age. To be truly honest, I don't think I would have the courage to do what he is doing at my present age. He will be a better person for his endeavor. I will keep him in my thoughts.

P.S. Grace loves Color Me Mine! Us girls will have to go together on one of our visits either in SLC or in PA. We like game nights, too! (except Gracie always likes to win)
