She's a Woman!

I’m very aware that we are not the only people that own a dog.  But without children and our jobs occupying most of our time, what else am I suppose to blog about?

I sincerely had no idea that dogs get periods.  I grew up with a male dog and that thought just never crossed my mind.  The morning after I bought Suz a new bed, she advanced to womanhood.  Unfortunately our vet gave us bad info on when to have her spayed so she was already scheduled for her appointment 3 weeks later.  But once they go into heat, you can’t operate, so we just got to deal with a mopey dog in a diaper for 2 weeks for “fun.”
