My favorite holiday is the 4th of July, and Matt likes any holiday that includes food and family/friends, but I've really never been particularly fond of Halloween. Back when my mom made me awesome costumes and I got to wander around the neighborhood with my friend asking for candy, it was a little more fun. But then when you're too old for that and you're still supposed to do something "fun" on Halloween, it kind of loses it's appeal. (I feel the same way about New Years...it used to be cool to stay up until midnight, but now there's a weird idea that you should be at some cool party in a little dress, when in reality, I get tired before midnight.)
This year, Halloween weekend really spoke for itself, and I may have decided that it's not the lamest holiday anymore.
ATV double date with my parents to see the fall leaves.
Aren't they the cutest??
Soccer game with Trent and Allie. Weird that we were the only ones without soccer gear on.
Bestie lunch. Kate + Lisa and Alexis + Meg. If Megan didn't live in New York, I'm pretty sure this would be a weekly event. Also, Halloween is the ONLY day of the year that Kirton & McConkie lets me wear denim so that's basically a holiday in itself.
My camera is still half broken so I'm not reliable at good photos.
Undocumented events:
Dinner at Cafe Rio with my college friends.
Halloween Party at my Mom's house.
Carmel Apple dipping.
BBQ and Young Frankenstein.
See?? It REALLY was a good weekend.
