How did we end up here? Humm.
3 years ago we met as servers at Olive Garden in Sugarhouse. My friend had a crush on Matt and used me as her wingman to invite him to a party. Upon inviting him, Matt instantly convinced himself that I was interested in him and quickly agreed to come. Once the party began, my friend realized he was not interested in her, he got my number, and weeks later when I told him why I had actually invited him to the party he refused to believe me.
We dated from then on, got engaged in September 2010 and married in June 2011.
I resisted the urge to start a blog but after my sister and Cholo convinced me that you didn’t need to have kids, throw fancy parties or step by step photos of DIY projects to have a blog, I caved. Don’t expect to read much more than, “last night I went to the gym while Matt watched TV and then we had cereal and went to bed...”
Lisa I am so excited about this! Don't mind that I found and stalked your blog through facebook. I told Blaine that when we move to Seattle I want to start blogging. Now that you have a blog, I want to start even more.
ReplyDeleteCereal? What about pizza? And don't forget the Crystal Light!
ReplyDeleteyou will not regret this decision. i wish i had documented the cider block hunt with pictures and had it in printed format for my children and grandchildren. you are only young and dumb once and it should be documented.
ReplyDeletethat was Ashleigh not anonymous. i can't figure out what is wrong with my google sign in . . . it's been 3 days now and it has yet to work its self out . . . go figure.
ReplyDeleteWe knew it was Ashleigh because "cinder" was mis-spelled.
