We Left The Mainland (Temporarily)

Although my pictures don't accurately display it, we went to Maui with Matt's family.  I can blame it on the  fact that they're not really "picture people" or I can seem really narcissistic.  Either way it's a terrible way to portray the wonderful vacation we enjoyed with them and the good memories we made.

After hiking over "Lord of the Rings" territory seemingly forever, we found the blowhole my family visited a few years back.  It's still just as cool.

And obviously it was super romantic.

We couldn't stop laughing the entire time we were in the mustang with the top down.  Matt kept on throwing up the hang loose sign at people we passed.  Maybe it was a you-had-to-be-there kind of thing.

Typical beach pose.

I thought this rock was really cool and Matt thought it was really lame.  Opposites attract??

Before sweating our brains out at the pool.

Hula Pie at Leilani's.

Sea turtle spotting.

We weren't mad about the annual "dinner at Ruth's Chris" tradition we were to be a part of.

Had Grace and I been successful, we all would have come home with tattoos "spring break 2012", but I'm sure without the permanent ink we'll still be able to remember what a fun time we had.

I am not tech savvy and I cannot figure out how to flip those pictures.  Come on Blogger!

  2. Nope, you didn't have to be there. "Hang Loose" is always funny.
